Kitsap County Chapter provides free education classes to Medical Assistants, Medical Assistant Students and Nurses every month from September through June.
Kitsap County Chapter of Medical Assistants is an active chapter that serves Medical Assistants, Medical Assisting students and other Allied Healthcare professionals in the Kitsap area. This past May, we hosted the Washington State Society of Medical Assistant's annual conference in Silverdale and it was a resounding success!
KCCMA holds monthly meetings that include an hour long educational session approved for AAMA CEU credits and offers the opportunity to network with other CMAs and MAs in your community. Following the education session there is a short business meeting which everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
We meet on the third Wednesday of each month (except July and August and December --July & August we have no meetings and in December the date is to be announced). Meetings are held at Harrison Medical Center Auditorium in Bremerton at 6:30 pm. Light refreshments are provided. Please join us while we enhance our professional growth and development by learning the newest trends in medicine and medical office procedures.
As an added bonus, for each CEU meeting you attend, a ticket is placed into a drawing for a free AAMA annual membership.
We are always open to suggestions for meeting topics or speakers, so if you have any suggestions or know of a good speaker, please contact Linda at kitsapmas@comcast.net. We want to help you keep you certification current!
