SCMA General Meeting and CEU

Join the Snohomish county chapter for our November meeting and CEU. We will be opening up nominations for board positions at this meeting and you will have the opportunity to hear from each of the board members as to what they do and how they help keep the chapter running. Please note if you are interested in being nominated you must be a member in good standing when nominated but you must also remain a member in good standing through the election. If you are interested in running for a position or even shadowing a current board member for a while please reach out to the current board members.

We will continue the sock and glove drive for the homeless this month as well. Please bring new socks/gloves and place in donation box at registration table.

CEU topic: We are still putting this one together. Stress relief and caring for the caregiver is the planned topic.

We will be meeting at Everett Community college in the liberty hall again for this month. Parking passes will be provided. Please see the October meeting for a campus map. Room # will be updated once available.

SCMA MA Week Celebration and CEU

Join the Snohomish county chapter as we celebrate the Medical Assisting professionals within our county. Education topic is professionalism in the work place, presented by Christine Malone, MBA, MHA, CMPE, CPHRM, FACHE. Faculty from Everett Community College. Light refreshments will also be served! SCMA thanks you for your dedication to your credential and your profession!!

We will be holding our annual drawing for one full and one student AAMA membership at this meeting. All entries from the year will be entered but you MUST be present to win!!!

Sock/Glove Drive: Please consider donating socks and/or gloves. The chapter will be donating them to a local area homeless shelter for the upcoming winter months. Please bring new socks or gloves with you to the meeting. We will have a donation box at the registration table.

There will be a location change for this meeting. We will be meeting at the Everett Community College in Liberty Hall (#16 on the map below). Parking will require a pass that you will need to obtain from staff after parking and place in your car. We will try to have someone stationed close to the parking area to help facilitate this quickly.

SUMMER BOT

The next BOT meeting is August 19 at 1030 am.
Southwest Washington has agreed to host.
We are meeting at 1030 am as the room we are able use is busy until then.  The address is 600 NE 92nd Ave Vancouver, WA 98664 PeaceHealth Health Education Center Auditorium B.  Park in the lot.
